Construction has commenced on the new learning centre and science laboratory at Palm Beach Senior High School for the Department of Education, Queensland.
The project, overlooking picturesque Currumbin Creek on Queensland’s Gold Coast, is the latest stage of expansion of the Palm Beach Senior High School ensuring quality education remains a central part of this continuously developing locality.
The scope of works involves the demolition of the existing library block, refurbishment of existing floor area into a new science laboratory and the construction of a new secondary learning centre incorporating covered access ways.
The works have been designed to allow productive access to workfaces while controlling and minimising the impact on the ongoing operation of the school.
It is Broad’s privilege and pleasure to contribute our education experience and expertise to this project and continue our collaborative working relationship with the Queensland Government to deliver a high quality teaching environment.
The finished expansion will be fully operational in advance of the start of the 2020 academic year.
