The City of Busselton has selected Broad Construction to deliver a new Performing Arts and Convention Centre on Queen Street in the Busselton Cultural Precinct.

Funded by the Federal Government and the City of Busselton, the project is a major investment in the cultural and entertainment infrastructure of the south west region.

Broad has successfully delivered specialist building projects in Western Australia for over 30 years and this project reflects our market leading commitment to safety, quality and close collaboration with clients.

The new centre will be an indoor performance, arts and convention venue. Comprising a 625-seat auditorium with retractable seats and separate function areas seating up to 400 people. This multi-functional venue will cater for concerts of up to 1,000 people standing, orchestral shows, comedy, cabaret and dance performances, music recitals, business events, award nights and graduations. The centre will also include an art gallery capable of hosting major national and international exhibitions.

Broad is committed to maximising the economic opportunities for local suppliers and sub-contractors to participate in the construction of the centre. Work commenced in 2022 and is scheduled to be completed in 2023.
